Daniel V. Donohue is Vice President, Human Resources of LIN Media. Mr. Donohue was appointed to this position in 2007 after serving as Director of Human Resources since 2005. Mr. Donohue is responsible for Human Resources policies and programs for the Company’s employees. He oversees all organizational planning and development, training, employee and labor relations, compensation and benefits strategies, and the Company’s safety, health and wellness initiatives. Since joining the Company in 2003 as Director of Benefits, Mr. Donohue has implemented benefits strategies and talent management programs to drive increased employee engagement and performance levels throughout LIN Media.
Prior to joining LIN Media, Mr. Donohue acquired over thirty years of human resources experience with media companies, including The Providence Journal Company and its former broadcasting and cable TV operations; Houghton Mifflin, a Boston-based educational publisher; and Utilicom Networks, a broadband communications provider.
Mr. Donohue is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and Human Resources Management Rhode Island (HRMRI). He holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Missouri and an M.B.A. from Temple University.
