Vincent L. Sadusky is President and Chief Executive Officer of LIN Media. Mr. Sadusky was appointed to this position in 2006 after serving as Chief Financial Officer of the Company since 2004.
Prior to LIN Media, Mr. Sadusky served as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Telemundo Communications, Inc., the Hispanic broadcasting network and station group. During his 10 year tenure at Telemundo, he made significant contributions to the company’s growth and success, including presiding over Telemundo’s IPO in 1994 and the network’s merger with NBC in 2001. Prior to joining Telemundo, he performed attestation and consulting services for seven years with Ernst & Young, LLC, one of the world’s leading professional services organizations.
Mr. Sadusky currently serves on the board of directors for LIN TV Corp., as well as Maximum Service Television, Inc. (MSTV), Open Mobile Video Coalition (OMVC) and JVB Financial Group. Mr. Sadusky received his MBA degree from New York Institute of Technology and his BS in accounting from Penn State University, where he was a University Scholar.
Scott M. Blumenthal is Executive Vice President Television of LIN Media. Mr. Blumenthal oversees the operations for all of the Company’s 28 television stations and was appointed to this position in 2006 after serving as Co-Vice President Television since 2005.
Previously, Mr. Blumenthal was the President and General Manager of LIN Media’s Indianapolis station, WISH-TV, from 1999 to 2002, when he was promoted to Regional Vice President of the Company. He worked in virtually every department at Indiana’s WTWO-TV and WRTV-TV before starting his own advertising agency. Mr. Blumenthal was recruited back by LIN Media to become Local Sales Manager for WISH-TV and later President and General Manager of WOOD-TV and WOTV-TV, both located in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
During his near 40 years in broadcasting, Mr. Blumenthal has received numerous outstanding awards, including the national first place award from the Retail Merchants Association, five Addy awards from the American Advertising Federation and the American Women in Radio and Television’s (AWRT) award for “Professionalism in Television Management”.
Mr. Blumenthal currently serves on the Board of the Television Bureau of Advertising. He also served as Treasurer of the CBS Board of Affiliates since 2005 and was promoted to serve as Chairman of the Board in 2007. He was also appointed to the Board of Directors for the National Association of Broadcasters in 2007.
A native of Indiana, Mr. Blumenthal received his BS in Radio and Television Communications from Indiana State University.
Rebecca Duke was named Vice President Distribution of LIN Media in 2007. Prior to, Rebecca served as Senior Counsel for the Telecommunications Group at Holland & Knight, LLP in the firms Washington, D.C. and Boston offices. While in that role, Rebecca had a specialized regulatory and transactional practice representing broadcast and cable clients before the FCC and negotiating programming and carriage agreements.
Prior to Holland & Knight, Rebecca was Assistant County Attorney for Palm Beach County, Florida, where her responsibilities included cable and telecommunications and negotiating franchise agreements with cable companies.
Rebecca received her BA in History from Rhodes College and her JD, with Honors, from George Washington University. She is admitted to the bar in the State of Florida, the District of Columbia and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She is a member of the Federal Communications Bar Association, American Women in Radio and Television and Women in Cable and Telecommunications.
Denise Parent was named Vice President General Counsel and Secretary of LIN Media in 2006. In this role, Denise oversees all aspects of the Company’s legal matters and acts as principal legal advisor for various corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures as well as legal compliance, security compliance and regulatory matters.
From 1997 until 2006, Denise served as Vice President Deputy General Counsel of LIN Media. During her tenure at LIN Media, Denise has made significant contributions to the Company’s success, including handling the legal matters for the Company’s various capital structures and financings, including the Company’s 2002 IPO.
Prior to her positions with LIN Media, Denise was Senior Corporate Counsel for The Providence Journal Company where she was responsible for the legal affairs of the company’s eleven television stations. Prior to the Providence Journal, she was a corporate associate with the law firm of Adler Pollock & Sheehan.
Denise is a member of the Rhode Island, Massachusetts and American Bar Associations as well as the Federal Communications Bar Association. Denise holds a BS from Northeastern University and a JD from Boston College Law School.
Robert S. Richter is LIN Media’s Senior Vice President New Media. Mr. Richter oversees all digital operations, including interactive, mobile, new ventures and acquisitions. He joined LIN Media as Vice President Interactive in 2006, and managed the online operations for more than 50 websites, working to build-out the Company’s online platform, multi-platform and multi-channel strategies.
Under Mr. Richter’s leadership, LIN Media continues to break records and deliver its largest audiences based on total user actions, time spent on site, unique visitors and video views. Mr. Richter is also credited with building the Company’s mobile news platform, launching iPhone and BlackBerry smartphone applications in 2009, to further extend the Company’s newsrooms, increase brand loyalty and grow additional revenue streams. His efforts have resulted in an ongoing and sustainable increase in digital revenue contribution.
Previous to LIN Media, Mr. Richter served as Vice President of Marketing and Sales Planning for ShopNBC from 2001 to 2006. At ShopNBC, he managed all online and offline marketing functions, driving sales, traffic and viewership to a top 50 internet retail site and a network reaching 75 million cable and satellite homes. Mr. Richter also held the position of Vice President of DET, LLC, a major market newspaper consulting company working with newspaper groups including Hearst, Knight Ridder and Media General, where he directed initiatives to increase circulation, public awareness and advertising revenues.
Mr. Richter currently serves on the Advisory Board for the Associated Press, as well as the Board of Directors for Speech Conversion Technologies, Inc. and Maine Today Media. He served on the board of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) from 2001 to 2008. Mr. Richter is also a member of the Direct Marketing Association, Internet Retail Association and Electronic Retail Association.
Richard J. Schmaeling is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of LIN Media. Mr. Schmaeling oversees all aspects of the Company's financial, accounting, tax, information technology, investor relations, and compliance matters. In addition, he is actively engaged in the Company’s strategic broadcast and new media initiatives.
Mr. Schmaeling is a Certified Public Accountant with more than twenty years of financial and operational experience in developing and executing strategic plans to accelerate profitable growth. Prior to LIN Media, he was Vice President, Finance at Dow Jones & Company, Inc., where he managed the financial planning, analysis, general accounting and transaction processing services for nine business units worldwide.
In addition, during his tenure at Dow Jones, Mr. Schmaeling played an instrumental role in the transformation of Dow Jones into a more diversified, multi-media content and information services company and in facilitating the acquisition by News Corporation.
Mr. Schmaeling earned his B.S. in Accounting, magna cum laude, from Rutgers University in 1986.

Mr. McCormick was elected to LIN TV Corp.’s Board of Directors and named non-executive Chairman of our Board in September 2006. Mr. McCormick is a Venture Partner with Rho Ventures, a division of Rho Capital Partners, which he joined in October 2006. Mr. McCormick’s primary focus at Rho is on investments in the media sector. Prior to Rho, Mr. McCormick was CEO of iVillage Inc., a public company, from August 2000 until the sale of iVillage Inc. to NBC Universal in May 2006. He also served on iVillage’s Board of Directors, to which he was appointed in February 1999 and was elected Chairman in April 2001. Mr. McCormick also served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Lifetime Television, a cable network provider, from 1993 to 1998. Prior to Lifetime, Mr. McCormick held executive positions with The Samuel Goldwyn Company, Cable Health Network, Petry Television and KCOP-TV. Currently, Mr. McCormick is a member of the board of Ovation Television and is Chairman of the Board of Everyday Health. Mr. McCormick received his MBA from Columbia University.
Mr. Banowsky was elected to LIN TV Corp.’s Board of Directors in May 2002. Since 2001, Mr. Banowsky has served as Chief Executive Officer of Magnolia Pictures Company, an independent film distribution company. Since October 2008, Mr. Banowsky has also served as Chief Executive Officer of Carolina Cinemas, a movie theatre chain. From March 1999 to September 2000, Mr. Banowsky was Executive Vice President and General Counsel of AMFM, Inc., which was publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange until September 2000. From January 1997 to July 2000, Mr. Banowsky was Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Capstar Broadcasting Corporation, which was publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange until it merged with AMFM, Inc., in July 1999. Mr. Banowsky practiced law for 10 years in Dallas, Texas prior to joining Capstar. Mr. Banowsky served as a director of Sunrise Television Corporation and STC Broadcasting, Inc. until May 2002, when they were merged into the Company.
Mr. Brodsky was elected to LIN TV Corp.’s Board of Directors in June 2005. Mr. Brodsky joined HM Capital Partners I, LP in 1995 and was named partner in 2001. Mr. Brodsky focuses primarily on the media sector. He serves as director of several of HM Capital’s portfolio companies including Choice Cable TV, CanPages Inc., Phone Directories Company, Unitek USA, Wilkes-Barre Publishing Company, Persona and Maine Today Media. Mr. Brodsky also sits on the board of directors of HM Capital Partners LLC. Prior to joining HM Capital Partners, Mr. Brodsky worked in the Investment Banking Division of Credit Suisse First Boston. Mr. Brodsky received his BA from Yale University in 1992.
Mr. Carson was elected to LIN TV Corp.’s Board of Directors in August 2000. Since 1982, he has served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Carson Private Capital, and he has over 38 years of experience sourcing, structuring and managing investments within the private equity and energy industries. From 1974 to 1994, Mr. Carson’s investment focus was in the oil and gas sector. During that period, Mr. Carson founded Carson Petroleum Corporation, which was sold to Devon Energy Corporation in 1982. Mr. Carson also co-founded CPC Dale Petroleum Company, which generated oil and gas prospects and operated wells until those assets were sold to W.R. Grace & Company and Snyder Oil & Gas in 1994. Since 1997, Mr. Carson’s core focus has been the formation of investment partnerships and in the acquisition of oil and natural gas reserves, typically restricted to institutional investors. Mr. Carson serves as a director of various privately held corporations and community organizations. Mr. Carson also serves on the advisory boards of private equity sponsors, HM Capital Partners (Dallas), Lion Capital (London) and Cotton Creek Partners (Dallas).
Dr. William H. Cunningham was elected to LIN TV Corp.’s Board of Directors in May 2009. Dr. Cunningham joined the University of Texas in 1971, when he was hired as Assistant Professor of Marketing. He later became a Professor of Marketing and has held the following additional positions: James L. Bayless Chair for Free Enterprise from 1986 to present; the President of the University of Texas in Austin from 1985 to 1992; and Dean of College of Business Administration/Graduate School of Business from 1983 to 1985. Dr. Cunningham was also Chancellor of the University of Texas System from 1992 to 2000. Dr. Cunningham also serves on the Board of Directors of the following publicly traded companies: Lincoln National Corporation, Southwest Airlines Co., Resolute Energy Corporation and also serves as a disinterested director of the John Hancock Funds. Within the last five years, Dr. Cunningham also served on the Board of Directors of the following publicly traded companies: Introgen Therapeutics, Inc., Hayes Lemmerz International, Inc., Hicks Acquisition Company I, Inc. and Jefferson-Pilot Corporation. He is a member of the Philosophical Society of Texas, a trustee for the Southwest Research Institute and a director of the greater Austin Crime Commission. Dr. Cunningham received his B.B.S., M.B.A. and Ph.D. from Michigan State University. Dr. Cunningham served as a director of Sunrise Television Corp. and STC Broadcasting, Inc. until May 2002 when they were merged into LIN TV Corp. and he continued to serve on the LIN TV Corp. board until 2008.
Mr. Pausic was elected to LIN TV Corp.’s Board of Directors in February 2006. Mr. Pausic has been a Limited Partner of Maverick Capital Ltd., a registered investment advisor managing private investment funds, since 1997, where he leads Maverick’s efforts in media and telecommunications investments. From 1995 to 1997, Mr. Pausic was a corporate Vice President at Viacom where he was responsible for international strategic planning and business development. From 1991 to 1995, he served as Vice President of market development and strategic planning for 20th Century Fox. Mr. Pausic received his BS from the University of Virginia and MBA from Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
Vincent L. Sadusky is President and Chief Executive Officer of LIN Media. Mr. Sadusky was appointed to this position in 2006 after serving as Chief Financial Officer of the Company since 2004.
